Our Code of Conduct explains how employees, suppliers and other parties acting on behalf of Schlau Energy must act to uphold our business principles.
The Code of Conduct cover safety, anti-bribery and corruption, fair competition and other relevant areas. We provides compulsory training and frequently engage staffs and service providers about the significance of both the business principles and the Code of Conduct.
Ethics and Compliance is paramount in all we do at Schlau Energy, Stakeholders at all levels are required to be uncompromising with respect to ethics, compliance and safety, making it absolutely clear through actions and anticipated outcomes that all Company activities must be discharged in a responsible, safe, ethical and compliant manner.
At Schlau Energy, Companywide Ethics and Compliance programme focuses on embedding our core values and business principles into the Schlau Energy culture. The Chief Compliance Officer is responsible for directing complinace programme. External legal and regulatory developments are monitored by the General Counsel who also provides legal advice to the Company. The Ethics and Compliance Unit designs, supports and monitors the programme.
Schlau Energy Ethics and Compliance manual demonstrates our commitment to our business principles by outlining requirements for employees to comply with laws on Corruption and Anti-Bribery, Anti-Money Laundering, Preventing Tax Evasion, Antitrust, Trade Compliance and Data Privacy. Employees undergo regular training to help them to understand their responsibilities and behavoral expectations.
Violations Reporting is encouraged at Schlau Energy. Our employees are mandated to anonymously share concerns bordering breach of the Code without fear of retribution. Our Helpline which can be assessed through local telephone and web is open 24 hours daily. This channel allows employees and partners to request guidance and anonymously report potential misconduct.
