The following efforts are being made to decarbonise our operations:

  1. We are reprioritizing our portfolio in favour of acquisitions and investments in lower-carbon energy solutions.
  2. At the appropriate time, Schlau will decommission and divest assets and reduce production through the natural decline of existing oil and gas fields;
  3. We are currently improving the energy efficiency of our operations;
  4. We encourage our partners to transform their integrated refineries into low-carbon energy and chemicals parks;
  5. We are advocating the use more renewable electricity to power our operations;
  6. Schlau will develop carbon capture and storage (CCS) for her facilities;
  7. We are collaborating with research centres to reduce methane emissions.

We are investing in lower-carbon energy solutions such as solar for electricity, wind power, charging for electric vehicles, and hydrogen. We will leverage innovative options to safely capture and store carbon emissions.
