We are committed to inputs and knowledge sharing opportunities capable of improving safety performance throughout the energy industry.

We are committed to inputs and knowledge sharing opportunities capable of improving safety performance throughout the energy industry. Therefore, we collaborate with industry trade associations and professional bodies to share our safety experience, standards and knowledge with other operators and contractors. These include the African Petroleum Producers’ Organization (APPO), the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and Independent Petroleum Producers Group (IPPG).
Schlau Energy partners with other organizations to promote industry-leading research into safety culture, safety leadership, and how best to learn from incidents. By sharing our safety standards and experience with operators and other stakeholders, we work to help improve safety throughout the energy industry.

Working closely together with our contractors helps us to build an excellent safety culture and in general, leading to improved safety performance. We take safety very seriously at Schlau Energy irrespective of the job location or function. Our mission to protect employees in line with “Goal Zero” targets no harm and no leaks across all of Schlau Energy work sites globally.
At the executives level we collaborate with executives of major contractor companies to identify strategies and realistic steps to improve safety culture and achieve our Goal Zero ambition of no harm and no leaks. We have also worked together to champion standardisation and simplification.

We understand that simplifying procedures can be very crucial. This is evident in projects that require multiple companies to work together. Usually, such projects often suffer from the complexity and inefficiency arising from safety.

Our business philosophy is underpinned by our core values of excellence, integrity, resilience, honesty, respect for people and our emphasis on safety.
